The Lionel Champlin House is a registered, historic Victorian home in Jamestown, RI (>> more Jamestown history). Formerly known as "Vinecroft," this beautiful 3-story guest house served as a Victorian tea room in the 1920s, and has hosted many summer visitors to Jamestown since the turn of the century.
Lisa Davis, the current owner, purchased the Lionel Champlin House in 1997 and has lovingly cared for this historic property, offering beautifully appointed rooms for visitors to Jamestown. In 2000, the house went through extensive renovations, adding finish and polish to areas to enhance this simple and beautiful rambling Victorian beach cottage.
Guests of LCGH enjoy a beautiful and convenient place to stay. With an in-town location, restaurants, shops and marina are just a few steps away. Beaches, water sports and fishing are also close by in Jamestown, Newport and a number of other local communities noted for spectacular coastline.

We welcome Rotary visitors and host a Jamestown Rotary meeting most Thursdays at 7:15 a.m.
